Lighthouse Boxer Rescue is a volunteer organization. We are not a shelter, our foster dogs are kept in trained foster homes until adopted. Dylan is a pretty laid back boy who loves to be around people. He knows many obedience cues and enjoys completing jobs! Dylan does become anxious around children and busy environments and he is reactive to other dogs. Because of this he would do best in a home with no small children and no other animals. Dylan is on medication for Separation Anxiety but shows no signs of it in his foster home. He will be attending a special obedience class called 'Relax' so that he can learn to 'relax' around other dogs hopefully making walks more enjoyable. Lighthouse is in desperate need of foster homes. The dogs are coming into the shelters of Ohio faster than we can save them. Currently we only have a couple of foster homes, and we can only take in as many dogs as we have foster homes.
